The challenge

Develop four motorized optical devices to show different types of live and prepared samples.

The solution

An inverted microscope (instead of rectum) that allowed to keep the samples with more water, significantly increasing the quality and duration of the samples. The system had an automatic change of objectives, allowed quick access and change of samples and, in addition, was linked to an interactive experience that allowed users to send the images captured by email.

The results

The children and all visitors were able to observe real live samples through a complete and innovative interactive experience. For the museum it represented an important operational improvement because the samples did not have to be changed daily with the consequent reduction of time and cost in the maintenance of the module.
